I slimmed down to just the Greengate from a Whole Shabang trying to reduce some weight this year. For me this worked well. I did miss the ability to drop gear and have a smaller day pack but it saved me some poundage in the pack. I was able to pack 9 days work of food and gear for a remote backcountry archery hunt. I killed a nice bull and hauling was comfortable even with the antlers hanging up. The OPW guy are great to work with and they will get you the best set up for the way you hunt.

Hard core hunters pack for sure. The green gate has a frame sheet plus stays for additional support. The internal load support straps helps secure and meat you may be hauling. The pack body has plenty of room. One thing I absolutely love about this pack is the back panel zipper which opens up the entire pack so it's very easy to load and see where your gear is. So much nicer than a top loader where you can never see where your stuff is. The green gate also has side compression straps to secure any load.
Great for a heavy haul
